1)so many chores 意为“许多工作” so如此这样用为修饰形容词中副词。such做形容词“如此的,这样的”用来修饰名词。但与many much few little 连用时,只能用so不能用such

2) have something to do 有事要做have nothing to do 无事可做have nothing to do with 与……无关

1 Number of concerts they’ve done .                                            

(1)number of 相当于the number of ,意为“……的数字,数目”,一般后面接名词复数,但其谓语动词用单数。如:

 The number of books in our school library is more than 10 000 .                                    

(2) a number of 意为“许多,大量”,相当于many,a lot of 后接可数名词复数,做主语时,谓中动词用复数。例如:
